Kitchen Renovation 2023
Project Details:
At the start of the year (2023) we started our kitchen/living room renovation. This is probably our 3rd iteration of a kitchen renovation and is probably what we should have done in the beginning. Anyway, we removed the wall between our kitchen and living room, removed a window, removed a doorway that led to the inner hall, added a 7'6" x 4' island, all new appliances, new door and continued the hard wood flooring into the kitchen. We came in about $10k over budget which isn't bad since I was being very tight with the budget hoping to spend less. The project took about 6 weeks and by the 2nd week we were ready for it to be over. In the end, however, the project exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier.
